Wind energy has a significant role for the future of energy in Turkey and in preventing climate change. It is still among the fastest growing energy sectors of the world. Against the conventional power plants, wind energy plants are a local and ever useable source that eliminates fuel costs and long term fuel price risks in respect are energy safety and that decreases dependency to other countries in respect of economical, political risks and supply risks, and they are plants having low operating expenses.
